Warranty & Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
By placing an order with Safari Salvage LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by the following warranty policy and terms and conditions.
Do not proceed with your purchase unless you accept all terms outlined herein.
1. Warranty Period
- Standard: 30-day parts replacement warranty unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
- Optional: 90-day warranty (if purchased) extends the standard warranty by 60 days.
- Terms under both warranty periods are the same unless the invoice states otherwise.
- Warranty is valid only during the stated period and is unenforceable thereafter.
2. Warranty Activation
- Warranty starts on the date of delivery as documented by the shipping carrier.
3. Warranty Limitations
- No coverage for labor, storage, diagnostic fees, towing, rentals, or incidental costs.
- Non-transferable; valid only for the original purchaser.
- If a replacement is unavailable, any refund will not exceed the original purchase price paid for the part.
- We may provide a functionally equivalent used part with similar or higher mileage.
- A replacement does not extend the original warranty period.
- Claims require a copy of the invoice and must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.
- Engine coverage: internal components only (block, pistons, crankshaft, heads). Accessories/bolt-ons are excluded.
- Transmission coverage: internal components related to shifting/slippage. External parts and electronics are excluded.
- Failure to follow required installation procedures may void warranty.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to abuse, improper fluids, overheating, freezing, racing, towing misuse, accidents, or road hazards.
- Commercial, fleet, or competitive use unless explicitly stated on the invoice.
- Improper installation or failure to replace required related parts (e.g., fluids, filters, gaskets).
- Continued operation after a problem is discovered.
- Parts returned altered, disassembled, or not in original condition.
- Failure to meet maintenance, fluid flush, or programming requirements where applicable.
- Damage occurring after warranty expiration or outside the United States.
5. Claims Process
- Email claims to sales@safariautosalvage.com.
- Include: invoice, vehicle details, VIN (if available), shop diagnosis report, and proof of installation.
- Claims must be submitted within the warranty period.
- Do not dispose of the part; it must be available for inspection if requested.
- Unauthorized returns and late claims may be denied.
6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
- Returns may be subject to a restocking fee (commonly up to 25%) unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping on shipped orders unless we shipped the wrong part.
- No refund for engines/transmissions returned in altered, damaged, or incomplete condition.
- Report shipping damage or incorrect parts within 72 hours of delivery.
- Do not return parts without prior RMA approval.
- Returned parts must be received within the RMA window provided.
- No labor reimbursement for any reason.
7. Maintenance Compliance
- For warranty claims, we may require proof of routine maintenance and/or required fluid changes from a licensed facility.
- Handwritten or unverifiable receipts may be rejected.
8. Additional Terms
- Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the part.
- Deposits (if any) may be non-refundable as stated on the invoice.
- Customer is responsible for confirming fitment prior to installation.
- Customer is responsible for applicable taxes (including use tax where required).
9. Disclaimers
- Wear items and accessories (e.g., sensors, wiring, fasteners) are not guaranteed.
- Mileage is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated on the invoice.
- Color match is not guaranteed.
- Estimated delivery timelines are not guaranteed and may vary.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion and refund amounts paid.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration where permitted by law, unless prohibited by applicable consumer law.
- Venue and governing law may be determined by the invoice and/or applicable law.
11. Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by applicable law. If a specific governing law/venue is stated on the invoice, that controls.
